After thinking long and hard about it, I figured out what type of media I wanted to review, something that I'm extremely passionate about, podcasts. Podcasts are kinda like morning radio shows, without those cheesy pop songs to get in the way.
It was on a 16 hour road trip to Florida that I went searching for something new, and found it with The Adam Carolla Show, a podcast that has been around a long time, but recently has started to be hosted on the site PodcastOne.com.
A little background info: PodcastOne was founded by Norman Pattiz, (a name none of you know I'm sure) he was the founder of Westwood One, a radio corporation giant back when Pattiz was running it, after they closed up shop he went one and found a new business to get into, Podcasting.
Podcast One started soon afterwards and gained momentum by giving everyone a podcast, from pretty much every walk of like, famous people like Adam Carolla of course, Shaq and Steve Austin, sports shows with ESPN personalities, shows about tech (duh) shows about heathy living, even Snooki has a podcast! (Remember her?)
I'm rambling, let me get back on track with the Adam Carolla Show. Adam is unapologetic, like always, along with his partners Bryan, Gina, and Mike, they often have a guest in their presence as well, whether it be an actor like William Shatner, or musicians and other comedians.
Adam and the gang run through their crazy day, awkward scenarios, or silly bits of news with a brash, everyday man sort of attitude. Cracking jokes and making fun of anyone and everyone, and not giving a you-know-what who they offend.
